My daughter has been using this walker for months! She started at 3 months (had great head control and sat up) because everything else bored her. The lowest setting was just barely right, she is average height. She could only go backwards at first, but still had a blast. Once she figured out going forward, nothing could stop her. Not sure how it would work on carpet, we only have tile and wood. We have used it for 8 months. LOVE that the tray comes off and the separate parts (except the 1 battery piece) can all go in the dishwasher.

Even after reading all the reviews with most of them complaining that the seat was too high for the average baby, i decided to get it anyways. Some reviews said it fit their baby fine, most said it was too high even on the lowest setting. I thought my average twins (6 months)would fit, because we have a different walker already and they fit it just fine. This one leaves their little feet hanging a good three inches off the ground! My boys are of average height too. I should of listened to the reviews, but i went with my own gut. Now instead of going through the trouble of returning it, we just prop a pillow underneath and hope one day they will actually be able to touch the floor, hopefully before they start walking.

My wife and I have a 9 month old baby girl. I will say that if you have a baby doll like we do everything has to be modified to fit their world. So even at it’s lowest setting she was not tall enough. Now here is the part where I will tell you that your on your own if do this. I did find a way to modify it that requires you to have to make a new notch for a lower setting and it is easy to do in about 10 to 15 min. I made some extra safety for mine but it works great now and her feet touch the ground. She loves it. Remember if you do this and your child gets hurt you are on your own so if you are not a person good with tools and brain power but a duck tape fixes all then don’t do it buy something else please. So for us we are good to go.

Well, I saw this item here on amazon and since my mother was visiting from out of town she thought it would be nice to just go purchase it in a store instead of ordering it online. We brought it home and set it up for my 6 month old baby girl. As soon as I sat her down, I noticed that her feet were about a good 3 inches from the ground, with the walker set at the lowest setting. I double checked just to make sure because the box CLEARLY says “4 months and up”. My daughter is 6 months and is in the average height percentile…why the heck don’t her feet touch the ground?? Needless to say, we returned the item the next day…by the time her feet reached the ground, she may have been walking already! Lol! Other than that, I think it would have been great..I really like the winnie the pooh light up singing toy.

the walker is excellent quality, however, our son is above average height (6 mo./old) and can’t touch the ground in it. also was disappointed to find the same walker at our local wal-mart for $20 cheaper. shop around and read reviews before purchasing……
