My carseat came w/ pads that could not be removed. The pads can get pretty gross after your baby spits up on them which is pretty much inevitable. These strap covers are very soft and most importantly are removable/washable. I highly recommend them.

I like this since I never like the straps of a carseat, they can really hurt ur newborn baby’s skin. These are soft, can be used on both sides (reversible) and easy to use.

These strap covers keep my daughter comfortable in her carseat and prevent the straps from leaving a red mark on her. I wish every carseat came with them. They are reversible and washable. Both sides are very soft and comfortable for my daughter to have against her. They also work in a stroller.

The straps are truly two-sided usable. The wool side is the softest I have ever felt. Nothing bumpy, just soft and cozy. Would recommend using these right from the start though as my daughter kicked a fuss the first few times after adding them even though they were so soft and fluffy feeling. Was in a car accident (without my girls) and added these to the straps now that I know what healing from car seat belt burns feels like. Would not want my children to go through it.

These strap covers are fabulous. Without the covers, the straps on our Britax Roundabout were leaving red marks on our daughter’s neck. These are long enough that they cover the entire strap as it goes over her shoulder but not so long as to interfere with the buckle that goes across the middle of the chest.
Another reviewer was concerned that since the product description said they are “plush” that they would make the car seat unsafe. It’s not like they are an inch thick. They are just thick enough to protect your child’s skin from being rubbed by the straps. I still have no trouble tightening the straps to the point that I can only get two fingers between my daughter and the straps. There is no way that she will come out of the seat in an accident.
The bottom line is that these are better than the strap covers that came with our other Britax car seats.
