Wonderful nursing cover for women of all sizes., October 23, 2008

I am a Mother of 4 and I have nursed all 4. I just received this as a gift for the 4th baby. I do not know what I did without it. I LOVE this product! I am a plus size woman and it easily fits around me. I also have friends that are petite and it fits them great too. I have tried other nursing covers and they just do not absolutely go around and cover me up. I also always hated using a blanket and having the baby pull it down while I am nursing. It goes with me everywhere. I just fold it up and put it in my diaper bag. I feel confident nursing anywhere (and I mean anywhere). I have used it daily for 4 months and it still looks brand new. I would highly advocate this product!

This will become my gift to each new Mother I know!!, February 12, 2008

This is a MUST have product for each nursing Mom. In fact it has now become my new standard baby shower gift. I cannot tell you how many times I have had moms ask me about it when I am using it. And the few times that I have left it at home and had to use a blanket to cover while nursing, I have really learned to appreciate my nursing cover. It makes such a difference to be able to see my baby while she nurses, to readjust latch, etc. Plus she cannot pull this off like she does with a blanket. And I can use both hands since I am not using one hand to hold the blanket. Definitely one of my top “can’t live without” baby items.

I was not really sure how useful this product would be compared to a regular receiving blanket, but decided to buy it based on a suggestion from another Mom. It has been great! The flex wire at the top is very useful and grants me to see my son while nursing and make any necessary adjustments without absolutely revealing myself. I would definitely advocate it to nursing Moms. Happy Mom’s Day!

Faster than the regular power, October 4, 2010

Not sure if it’s just mine, but for some reason this tiny battery pack makes my pump go at a much faster speed. I have gotten use to it, but it was very strange at first, I would not advocate you to begin pumping initially using this, but once your breast are use to breast pumps it should be fine. Otherwise have been using it for 2 months and have not had to change the batteries yet. I use it 5 days a week.

This cream is great. When I was pregnant everyone stated use coco butter, I hated it and how greasy and smelly it was and I stopped. Well again with everyone’s advice I purchased the lanolin cream. Again, smelly and greasy – why does everyone just put up with that. I have enough going on without worrying about ruining my clothes and having to wash it off my hands. This company is the best. This cream is so so nice, no smell. It is like a nice eye cream consistency. One pump is one application and there are 60 in the tiny bottle. If I am not sore, I use one pump for both sides. It really helped. Also check out their pumps. They are a life changer.

Very moisturizing, January 30, 2011

This product is AWESOME! I have used this and the nipple wipes that Simplisse makes. Both dry swiftly and do not stain your clothes. I use it because my nipples get dry and a tiny raw feeling (no blisters or cracks though, thank goodness). It really works. Like some other people, I tried using expressed breastmilk to rub on my nipples. Unfortunately, my tiny man is such a good eater he doesn’t leave me any! Overall, I really like this cream.

i shouldn’t gloat, i know – but because of astonishing nurse, my baby latched on perfectly about oh, 10 seconds after leaving my body, and so compared to some, i have do not have a lot of soreness, rawness, cracks or any of that… regardless, there is definitely been an adjustment period as my nipples toughen up a tiny (she is a voracious, fat tiny feeder). i had a lactation consultant tell me to just rub colostrum around my nipples and not bother with lanolin or creams or whatnot, but truth be told, i got all squeamish about trying to squeeze colostrum out of my own nipples (i’m not a body-fearing type, y’all – like to be naked, actually), especially since my breasts were so sore initially as they went about the business of getting milk together and so… i got some of this, and lemme just tell you. i’ve only used it a few times when my nipples felt a tiny raw – it’s a miracle worker.

convenient, and not just for baby stuff, August 21, 2011

Things I really like about this product: 1) it is huge enough to fit a lot of stuff in the bag; 2) it stands up in the microwave; 3) it really does last for all 20 uses; 4) it has a place to mark off each time you use it; 5) I have had no problem with the seal–these are simple to seal for all 20 uses. I wish it had the cool grip area like the Munchkin bags–it is simple to burn yourself so you have to be careful. You do not need to use an oven mitt, though, even though they state you should. Just grab the top, carefully.

We do not have a baby in the house. We use these to sterilize medical equipment–nebulizer cups, aero chambers, and other breathing equipment. I wish I had had this product when my children were babies! But it is very useful now.

You always have to wash your items before trying to steam sterilize them.

You have to know what you are sterilizing. Some parts can’t handle being in the microwave, and some can’t handle the steam sterilizing. If you melt something, it is not because this product is faulty. It’s a great product.

Great item (purchased elsewhere though), October 12, 2008

I have these bottles (the ones pictured) but I got them from another site so I did not have the problem with not getting the item shown as some other reviewers did. These bottles are a convenient size and shape for the fridge, freezer or diaper bag and they screw directily to my medela pump (which I love but I like these bottles to theirs). The medela caps look different but they fit these bottles too. They are simple to clean by hand or in the dishasher. They hold 4+ ounces (leave space for expansion if freezing).

I ordered these right before giving birth to my second child. With my first I BF until he was 13 months old, and I had a freezer full of bags of milk. In the end I threw all of it away, 3 months of milk and all those bags.

I figure I will BF my daughter until she is 12 months or she weans herself. I only store enough milk for a few days, and dump when we have a good supply.

I ordered the rack and extra bottles. And even though they are different colors (pink or white) they work the same.

Clean up is nice since I can pump right into the bottles.

Great product for a working Mom, first in first out, saves you worrying about the age of the milk.

Great for storing small amounts of milk at a time, March 28, 2007

These bottles are great for storing small amounts of milk, which is the way it should be done. Sturdier than plastic milk bags which can be punctured if they are bumped hard enuf against something else in the freezer. The rack is just OK, but not a necessity. I organized my bottles in a small box which kept them all in one place. The rack grants the bottles to slip out the backside if enuf pressure is put against the front/top bottle. Costly if you purchase a lot of them, but worth it if one intends to breastfeed a decent while. Caution to be taken when filling tho. Grant for expansion, else you will have warped bottles (that will not roll in the rack). This was swiftly learned when it happened only once. Filling just to where the bottle narrows to the neck is adequate enuf to avoid warping.

Leaky, not for long-term storage., February 15, 2007

I used these with my first child to freeze homemade baby food. They are good for the actual freezing process, and do help standardize portion size. However, despite the promise on the packaging that they are dishwasher safe, cubes that went through the dishwasher warped so that the caps would no longer stay shut. The ones we washed only by hand would stay shut, but were still not air-tight, and would leak liquids if they tipped over.

So my advice if you purchase these cubes: wash them by hand, and plan to pop food out of the cubes, once frozen, out to store for longer periods in a good quality freezer bag.

Love these!, January 18, 2007

I just began making my own baby food, and I love these baby cubes! Food easily comes out if you want to store in a freezer bag, in convenient tiny 1 ounce cubes! Plus, you can feed right from the cube. Pop into fridge, thaw and you are ready to go! I want more!

there is only one set. and the containers are absolutely impractical. hard to open, hard to close and very inexpensively made.also too small of a portion even for a baby. i just store food in a tiny more massive batches in a tupperware container in the freezer.

Unless you have a body made perfect for nursing and never get sore nipples, you need these or a product like it. You have to get the absorbent pads to put in them though or empty them regularly, if they have free milk in them it sloshes around and you cannot bend over or anything because it leaks out the vents holes int he top. But i do not know of any product that serves the same purpose and doesn’t do this.
