Great for the post-swaddling months, October 26, 2009

Our baby was able to bust out of a swaddle early on, even with the special velcro-ing (is that a verb?) blankets like the Kiddopotamus & Co. Organic Cotton SwaddleMe – Ivory. With this product, he stays warm all through the night because he cannot kick it off. No 2am “I’m cold” crying, plus we do not have to worry about it ending up over his face.

Love the sleep sack to keep the covers on baby. When your baby gets too huge to swaddle this is the ticket. Otherwise they kick off the blanket. The arm holes are small enough to keep it on as it should be. The zipper zips from top to bottom so it’s not in baby’s face or neck. Very roomy! Should get a lot of use out of this size. Our six month old is around 18 lbs & 26 inches and has plenty of room to grow in it. I am not absolutely sold on the organic deal. I did not notice it being super soft like the packaging says, “feel the softness”.

Great for babies transitioning out of a swaddle, March 30, 2011

Our baby was swaddled for sleep up until she was 6-months-old and started rolling over onto her stomach while swaddled. We tried putting her in footie pajamas for sleep, but she seemed a bit restless during the night. It was too drastic of a change from the swaddle she’d become comfortable with. We tried this Halo SleepSack (on top of the pajamas), and she settled right down to sleep. The SleepSack gives her the cosy comfort of a swaddle with the freedom to roll over without any safety issues. Now we use a SleepSack each night. We like the standard fabric (rather than the fleece variety). Living in Houston, the Halo fleece fabric is too heavy and warm, even in winter.

Great replacement for the crib blanket, January 28, 2010

My daughter is nearly a year old, and she has worn a sleep sack each night since she has come home from the hospital. They are wonderful for keeping her warm, especially now that she moves plenty in her sleep. The sack stays on instead of being kicked off like a blanket. Because the sack is either made of fleece or cotton, I can select which one to put her in depending on the fabric weight of her pajamas so that she doesn’t get too hot or too cold. It’s great for naps too, because I can just slip it on over her play clothes and she ‘feels’ like it’s time to go to sleep. I will certainly use them over and over again for future children.

This blanket is great. I have used these on my daughter since she was 4 months old and I love them. I do not have to worry about her waking up at night due to being cold. I will continue to purchase these as long as they come in her size and she is 19 months old now.

I granted my daughter to choose the Monkey Nap Mat in Pink. This is her second Nap Mat and compared to the one previously bought for the same price it is thin, lacks padding, the pillow is stuffing and not an actual removable pillow you can wash(as needed.) Also the straps to close up/carry the Nap Mat are way too short.

Not bad for the price, February 9, 2011

This is a very adorable napmat. Fine for daycare. I wash it at the end of each week. I have to use a sweater stone to remove “balls” that form all over as a result of the washer/dryer. I also reshape the pillow. I pick my daughter up at the end of naptime so I often see her fast asleep all cuddled up on her mat. She adores it, so it fine with me. Especially great price.

Faded Colors, December 3, 2010

I was very disappointed about the color of this blanket. The product picture shows the blanket with rich colors. That is NOT what I got. The colors are very faded and makes the blanket appear to be low quality or old. I put this order back in early November and did not receive it until Dec. 3rd. It was a long wait. I bought this as a gift. I took it into a shop to have my nephews name embroidered on it in attempt to make it more amusing for the child. Now I can only hope that once it gets washed the color wont fade even worse than it already is.

I’ve purchased a couple Halo sacks for my daughter to sleep in (in the microfleece and cotton) and loved them both, so I decided to get this one for her at eighteen months. I ordered the 18-24 month sack and it is made of a basketball jersey-type material. It was not what I expected. I do live in Texas, so for the fall it will work just fine, but I will probably have to get something heavier for the winter. It is also very massive and will probably dwarf most 18 month-olds. There are leg-holes, but my daughter will not be able to walk in hers for some time. It serves its purpose, but I would not advocate this for those living in cooler climates and would state order on the smaller end if you anticipate them to walk around in it.

Lightweight for summer, runs big, November 27, 2009

I purchased this early walker sleeper for summer, along with the microfleece one for winter. My 19-month old adores to sleep in them — he can move around a lot more than the previous sleep sacks which did not have feet. (We used the ones w/o feet up until he was 18 months old.) The material on the wearable mesh is just like another user described — like basketball shorts. It’s very lightweight, but I think it will be good for summer over some light pajamas. These run very huge so get a size smaller.

I received this sleepsack to try for my 11 month old. I really love the concept and I love the material used around the feet. I think all of their products are wonderful! My only complaint, and the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars, is how massive they are. My baby is an early walker for sure, and I absolutely comprehend that these need to fit a 6 month span, but my 3.5 year old easily can wear this sack in size massive with room to spare and she is very tall for her age. If you are buying one for someone under a year, you might want to purchase the normal sleepsack. Over a year, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

This is the most beautiful crib set!, April 20, 2008

I was checking out crib sets in the last 5 months and found this set on Amazon. After I was eager to find it in a store to see and touch it. It was hard to find it, but I got lucky and could see it in Baby Depot (Burlington Coat factory) as a demo with the crib. (I also found it later in Babies R us, but of course Amazon had the ideal price). I was really pleased by the colors and materials, I think the comforter could even work as a play mat for tummy time, because they used at least 7 different materials (cordouy, plush, some kind of fur etc.), it’s perfect for babies for developing touching sense. Even I feel like touching it each day.

I’m going to have a girl and I really did not like the pink, purple, white idea, which gave me a hard time to find a good set and greatly limit my selection, but I think this one perfectly works for a boy or a girl.

This set matches with natural wood and with nearly all of the green and yellow products (changing pad covers, blankets, Carter’s clothes etc) available on the market.

First I was disappointed with the musical mobile, it’s not the same as on the crib set picture (there is no blue and green toy as it looks – which would give more color to the set) There is a light gray elephant, light yellow giraffe, light orange lion and a brown monkey, which pops up is the palm tree. After I decided to order it as well and it looks good with a set (but I still wish NoJo would go back to the original colors)

I hope my baby will enjoy it as much as I do.

This 6-piece crib set is the absolute cutest. My husband and I were searching for a crib set for our son for nearly 9 months when we spotted this one on-line. I was a tiny hesitant to buy it because I was unable to see it in person. But believe me it was well worth the purchase. It has multiple textures and very vibrant colors. It is actually cuter in person than in pictures. My 5 month old son totally adores it. When we put him in his crib for the first time, he immediately started kicking up his heels in laughter looking at all the characters on the bumper. Even without the mobile, the animals on the bumper manage to be entertainment enough. I advocate buying all the accessories that go with set also (i.e. night light, mobile, lamp, rug, etc.) You just cannot go wrong with this crib set.

I thought Jungle Babies was cute in the picture…in person it’s even more cute! I love everything. The sheet washes well, the bumper installs easily. I hung the comforter on the wall and it’s adorable. I definitely advocate this to anyone doing an animal theme in their nursery!

Super adorable and exactly what I wanted. Quality is good, too. Did not shrink when washed as directed (cold, gentle). Has removable batting for both quilt and bumpers. And a neat “super safe” zipper feature – they go really far back into the seam.

The Ideal Receiving Blanket for Swaddling, June 21, 2010

I put this on my registry more out of curiosity than anything else and I am very glad that I did. This blanket appears thin, but has just enough weight to it to keep my newborn daughter warm and huge enough to keep her swaddled. She is now about 7 weeks old and seems to be able to kick and poke her way out of other receiving blankets when swaddled, but not this one. The fabric is stretchy so it moves with her when she is her most fussy self! The only negative is one time she had a tiny diaper mishap and the blanket is now lightly stained… cannot seem to get the stain out, but still in love with this blanket and I highly advocate it. Had I known it was going to be so nice, I would have requested a bunch of these organic receiving blankets instead of many others.

This blanket is a nice massive size… my daughter was 6lbs 3 oz when born, but due to its size and stretch I am certain that it can easily accommodate a baby as massive as 10-12lbs and possibly larger. This is my husband’s favorite choice in receiving blankets for swaddling too!

Best organic swaddling blanket, May 23, 2010

I purchased 8 different types of organic blankets, this was by far the cheapest. This is the only one we use-I purchased 3 more. The baby LOVES them, they wash well and are very soft. They are not heavy so she can be swaddled even in warmer weather. Highly recommended!

Excellent Receiving Blankets, September 19, 2010

I purchased 4 of these for my newborn son. These blankets are huge enough for multi-purpose and very soft. Most of the receiving blankets I can find are 30×30, baby can easily kick out of the swaddle I create and wake him up at night, with this one, there is no such problem. It’s a tiny bit on the costly side, but worth the extra money.

I had previously bought one of these from another company for my upcoming son in a few days, and I have a daughter who I have been using another organic brand one for but was not really liking it. So, I decided to try the one I bought for him in her bed (since he was not born yet)and loved it so much that I had to rebuy him one. Awesome price especially for being organic. Believe me, I have been price shopping these since I was pregnant with my daughter. It has not shrunk on me at all (problem with last brand) and works great when my daughter has leaks!!! Definite buy!!!

Definitely worth the money, March 3, 2009

This is a fantastic pad. It’s quite thin, and I had my doubts that it would keep the mattress dry (my baby is a real spitter)–but it does, amazingly well (I am constantly amazed how much it can absorb and still leave the mattress absolutely dry, not even a spot). And it washes very well. Plus it’s organic!–genuinely organic, not like some of the products marketed as organic but not 100% so. It has been well worth the money.

So worth the price!, May 28, 2009

My son has really sensitive skin and was intrigued when I came across this product. It seemed too good to be true, but I bought it anyway. It is fabulous. The whole pad is soft and comfy, so much that my son threw a fit when I was placing it under his sheet. It does not have that plastic crinkly sound to it. I have already washed it a few times and just keeps getting softer. It did not let any of our sons accident seep through to the mattress. It is a great size, I use it on our son’s toddler bed. Great Product.
