Uppa Baby Vista Adaptor for Peg Perego Automobile Seat, August 2, 2011

The automobile seat adaptors have a plastic peg exteding from each of them which are meant to snap into the Automobile seat when placing it onto the stroller. Be careful when attaching automobile seat to adaptor as the peg easily snaps off. I was very careful trying out the adaptors for the first time and one side snapped right off. I think this product is poorly designed and these pegs are not strong enough to withstand the continued snapping in and out of the automobile seat.

Don’t Buy, September 15, 2011

The plastic pegs snapped off the first time we used it and they are unable to repair. This is not worth the money, try and find the old metal model if possible, it works MUCH better.

Terrible, August 25, 2011

After six weeks of use, the automobile seat never goes into the adapter correctly and we have to struggle to get the automobile seat connected. It never fails that the baby is asleep and when struggling to connect the automobile seat, he wakes up. I have ordered the other adapter in hopes that it works better.

Simple, but amazing, December 1, 2010

What a sleek and perfect solution! We had been using the baby trend snap n go for the automobile seat, but found it difficult to attach and release. Plus the ride is much more Jarring for baby. With this attachment we have the beautiful smooth ride of the quinny plus the ease of one step placement and removal. It is just like placing the automobile seat in the base in the car, it locks in securely with 2 metal sounding clicks.

Since we got it I cant tell you how many people have stated ” cool stroller” as we go out on our walks.

The only con is that compared to the snap n go there is much less storage space on the quinny. No basket under the baby for a diaper bag or shopping stuff. We have a clip on diaper bag and the small clip on pouch made by quinny, plus a mommy hook to make up for the lost storage. Oh and I am thinking about getting that cup holder.

Overall I wish we had gotten this attachment sooner we would not have had to get the snap n go too.

Sleek and versatile, but think about duration of use before you buy, October 24, 2008

The orbit bassinet is a great, stylish part of the entire orbit system, however now that our tiny one is approaching three months, I am beginning to feel it is too cramped for him to sleep in at night. It’s been so nice to have him right next to the bed for those middle of the night feedings, and I am not ready to relegate him to his own far away bedroom, so I am going to have to come up with another option in order to keep him nearby at night. I will likely be able to continue to use the bassinet for another 2-3 months for walks in the neighborhood (though most often we just use the regular car/stroller seat or the moby), so if you are looking to buy the bassinet, think about what you will use it for and it might be worth the 0+/- pricetag.

Getting ready to use for Baby #2!, August 19, 2009

I bought this bassinet in June 2007 for my daughter who was born that month. I used it daily for about 5 months. I was sad when she grew out of it- that is how much I loved it. I had read that it was not good to keep an infant in a carseat all the time, because it was ideal if they laid flat. Therefore, I kept the bassinet in the automobile trunk and each trip to the grocery store or walks around the air-conditioned mall– I would whip out the bassinet and attach it to the stroller frame (since I had also bought the Orbit Infant System) and wheel her around while she slept, well, like a baby. In the first few months of her life she would fall asleep nearly immediately upon being pushed around in this bassinet, so it granted me to run a lot of errands and take daily walks to lose the baby weight.

At home, I would also put the bassinet on the rocker and use it for her naps downstairs. I liked the option to either keep the rocker stationary, or to flip up the levers and be able to push it gently for the rocking motion.

I am due in a few weeks with baby #2, so I just pulled this bassinet out of storage, washed the cover, sun shade, etc and it still looks brand new. The cover, etc are all very simple to remove and wash, and I hung everything to dry so they would not shrink, and it was a cinch to put back onto the frame. I am sure that I will enjoy using this bassinet for #2 just as much as I did for #1. When I bought this product I had intended to use it for two babies, and I am very glad that I will be doing just that.

Great bed for new born, June 2, 2010

I bought this bassinet cradle and the Orbit system used and totally love them! I used the bassinet on the cradle next to the bed for 3 months before getting a crib. On the cradle it was the perfect height next to the bed for simple checking on baby, giving him a pacifier, and feedings during the night. I still use it when I am out late so my baby has a bed on the go. What I love even more is how it looks on the stroller.

Best Stroller Bag Ever!, May 15, 2009

I was so exhausted of having our strollers come back from the belly of airplanes damaged, wet or full of oil stains! I would cringe each time I saw a baggage handler throw our stroller! We have gone through a ton of similar stroller bags and none of them compare to this one! I am so glad something of this quality is finally available. We have been so happy with this that we went ahead and purchased the whole line. I have suggested this to other families that travel and they are happy with them too. Do not waste your money on the other bags, save it and purchase this!

Great bag – extremely durable, September 26, 2009

We just purchased two of these bags for our last trip. Used one for a single MacLaren Triumph umbrella stroller and one for a MacLaren Twin Triumph umbrella stroller. Both fit well in the bag, even with as long and the umbrella stollers were. The wheels on the bag worked great for pulling these through the airport. The bags are a bit bulky, but they are EXTREMELY durable. Both the bags and the stollers survived the brutal care of the baggage handlers at the airport and the bags look like their ready to go for another 30+ trips. The extra room inside and in the side pockets was great for packing extra items to make sure our luggage stayed under the weight limits. The only downfall was that the bags are so nice and sturdy, the airline employees thought they were regular luggage so when we got to one destination we had to go to baggage claim to pick up and at the other destination I had to specifically ask the baggage guy bringing stollers back to the gate to grab our bags.

I highly advocate this product!

Great stroller bag, but doesn’t fold up small enough to be carried under stroller, March 27, 2011

This bag is great. It’s super sturdy material, the zippers are heavy duty, the handles are all reinforced and the wheels are huge and stable. If you are going to check your stroller on an airplane this is the bag for you. However, I am going to gate check my stroller while traveling alone with baby and I do not think this bag is going to work for me. The issue is that the bag will not fold up to smaller than about 15″ x 18″ x 4″. That is not very huge in the scheme of things, but it’s not small enough that I can fit in my under stroller net and I cannot carry it along with me, baby and the rest of his gear. The bottom of the bag has a plastic reinforced panel that extends from the wheels to the bottom of the bag and up the back of it for about 12″. That panel limits how small the bag can be folded up. I am going to return this bag and get the next one down that doesn’t have wheels so I can fold it up smaller. Overall, I love the quality of this bag and if I was checking the bag or did not need to use my stroller in the airport this would be the perfect bag. Instead I am opting for the next size down and hoping I can fold it up small enough to fit it in the under the stroller net.
