I’m always interested in what others have to state about items that I might buy. I am also always humored by two things:

“I just got X in the last week but here is what I think…”

AND

“It’s so difficult to set up…”

I do not usually write a review, but had to in this case. The Baby Jogger Performance Single Automobile Seat Adapter is easy to set up, contrary to what MANY reviewers have stated. I am not an engineer or a mechanic. I use my hands, but that is only to stick needles into people to cure diseases.

Basically, I took the Adapter, lined up the screw holes to the Jogger, and screwed the thing in. It took me about ten minutes, mostly because I was trying to find my screwdriver that my three year-old had borrowed.

Good luck. It’s a great item and my wife already adores it. Oh, and we have had it only about a week…hahaha.

Still using it!, December 12, 2007

My son is 7 months old and I still use the adapter, even though he is huge enough to sit in the Baby Jogger on his own. I get to interact with him, it’s easier for him to nap (his favorite thing to do when we head out for a run), and it’s easier to keep him bundled and warm in the colder weather. Also, the path I run on is alongside a busy road and having him in his automobile seat grants me to protect him from flying pebbles, exhaust, etc. Obviously, I have to switch him out soon, but it’s been such a great thing I have used since he was 2 weeks old! I have gotten my money’s worth!

Works well, but install is not obvious, September 12, 2009

I installed this adapter onto a 2001 Baby Jogger II, after calling Baby Jogger and learning that they sell the same adapter kit for all of their current jogging strollers with 20″ wheels, regardless of actual product name. The adapter works very well with our Graco infant seat now that it is installed, but the installation was not a trivial effort. No only did the adapter come with no instructions, but the instruction PDF that I found on Baby Jogger’s website is very vague and the photos are nearly worthless. Fortunately, I am a tinkerer and swiftly determined that the spacers on both the stroller and that came with this adapter were too big, so I just cut them down to size and found some extra washers in my toolbox. I had the adapter connected after about an hour of finding instructions, deciphering them, discarding them and, finally, doing my own thing.

Not absolutely black, April 1, 2011

I bought the Buzz in orange/red in 09, but swiftly decided I was not that into bright colors. So I was thrilled to buy the XL seat in storm – no more attention-grabbing orange! Except once it arrived, I realized it is only the front of the seat, the back of the seat is still red, as are the canopy and seat restraint pads. Total bummer. But, the seat itself fits my toddler well and should for quite some time. The material is not as soft as the original seat, but she doesn’t seem to notice.

Great for a growing baby, June 30, 2011

The Buzz XL seat is great for extending the life of the stroller. It is basically less padded then the original seat that the stroller comes with and the material is different. The installation was a bit difficult, but just take your time and it will fit perfect. My son is now 14 months @ 29 lbs and this seat fits him much superior and less cramped.

Unstable with City Mini, July 26, 2011

We decided to purchase only one stroller (City Mini) and rely, as possible, on available accessories to maximize its functionality. Since babies are not really supposed to ride on the City Mini, we decided to purchase this adaptor in order to use our Peg-Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 30-30 automobile seat.

The adaptor attached very well to the stroller. It was simple to install. The adaptor is made of a very light and sturdy material. We have not used it much, but it looks and feels very resistant and durable. The automobile seat snaps very easily and remains attached to the stroller even under severe stress. The adaptor makes the automobile seat sit high enough such that you can have your baby at comfortable distance. In terms of built, installation, etc this product gets “thumbs up”.

However, our biggest concern (therefore the rating) is that the City Mini became unstable (even more). The adaptor makes the automobile seat sit at a relatively high position, which combined with the very light built of the Mini, makes the stroller somewhat unstable, specially when going through rough or uneven terrain.

In oder words, our biggest problem was not the adaptor itself, but the capability to use a automobile seat with this stroller. It ended up being that one of the City Mini’s greatest feature: its lightness, makes using a automobile seat somewhat unsafe.

The adaptor is also a tiny pricey. For that money you can purchase a Snap-N-Go, which will definitely fit nearly any automobile seat and eliminate any instability. We ended up doing that and it has worked very well.

Pretty much what I expected, March 17, 2011

I own the Chicco Polly high chair. This cover fits the high chair over the smaller seat padding perfectly (it does NOT fit over the giant double padded cover though). I am fine with the fit as my sons are going on two years old now and do not need all that padding. I was just looking for something which easily wipes clean and is machine washable (neither of which is true for the cover that came with the high chair). This fits the bill perfectly. It’s made from the same material as the bibs… so yes, it is thin, but it serves its purpose. I am sure it will break down after a number of washes like the bibs do… but for under , I think it’s worth it.

A tiny small and thin…, January 13, 2011

I ordered this highchair cover for my son and it’s ok. The material is strong, but there is no substance to it. It’s very thin, it reminds me of a wind breaker I had in jr high. Also, it barely fits, in fact it’s so tight that it doesn’t cover the whole chair.

Horrible- DO NOT BUY, January 7, 2011

This high chair cover is extremely thin. Not much more than a plastic trash bag. It doesn’t fit on my normal sized evenflo high chair. It feels like it is going to tear if you try to stretch it at all. I am returning this immediately. It is in no way worth . I tried to give it 0 stars.

Great travel system, March 21, 2011

I purchased this travel system before my due date for my first child so I could put it all together and get used to it. I did lots of research on travel systems before buying this one but knew I was going to purchase a Graco. I have used this system at least each day until my baby was 9 months and then moved on to a jogging stroller. I love the pattern. The carseat is simple to take apart to wash all fabric. The fabric is comfortable, soft, and warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I love how the handle can be EASILY adjusted to my height or my husbands height. I also like how the stroller can be switched easily so your baby is facing you as you push or facing out as you push. It is not too heavy and a great system overall.
